We will be opening for take out only on Friday May 29th.  We ask customers to please order online by clicking the link below.  We will be open daily for take out at noon and we will take the last order at 7pm.  Please follow all social distancing measures and wear a mask if at all possible.  Payment and pick up will be at the bar.  We will be asking every customer to sanitize their hands before using debit/credit machines.

GTs has decided that washrooms WILL be available as a courtesy to our customers.  Please sanitize your hands on entering the washrooms and wash your hands thoroughly before exiting.

Opening up will be nothing like it’s been in the past but we are grateful and happy to be able to open in some capacity.

Carol & Andy

We are Andy & Carol, proud owners of GT’s since 2009 although Carol has worked here as a manager since 1995. We have both been in the restaurant industry our entire lives and actually met while working at a restaurant in London. We feel extraordinarily privileged to own GT’s and to be part of the Port Stanley Community.   In 2008 we were just 2 months pregnant with our second child when the opportunity to own GTs was presented.  We had two children and bought a business in the span of 22 months!  Life was crazy for a while but it was all worth it. Carol grew up in Chatham while Andy grew up just up the highway in Union.  We have two boys, Jonny aged 11 and Zach aged 12Zach lives for hockey and baseball while Jonny is both an artist and a writer.  Andy enjoys playing rec hockey in the winter and Carol is proud to be on her second stint as chair of the Port Stanley Business Improvement Area. We are often asked “What do you do in the winter?” The reality is we take around 6 weeks off over Christmas but it takes about 6 weeks to clean and close up each Fall. January-March are spent booking bands, creating the menu, hiring new staff, updating the website and getting ready for the new season.  In April it takes about a month to get open and then we are open May-September.
Like every business, it’s our customers who make us what we are. We are so very grateful for each and every one of you.  Thank you for coming to GT’s, we hope you love it as much as we do.

GTs casual atmosphere means we are normally first come, first served and do not take reservations. We do take a limited number of larger group bookings on weekdays and weekend volleyball tournaments. For more information, contact andy@gtsportstanley.ca
